Gamgee Roll is a surgical dressing roll and has a thick layer of absorbent cotton wool between two layers of absorbent gauze. Gamjee Roll are highly absorbent cotton roll available in low adherent gauze cover and is applied over dressing to provide low adherent wound interface. Rolls are primarily used as dressing bandage for wounds and protect wounds from external trauma. It is used as sterile combine dressing pads, in post-operative dressings and are sterilized by Gama Radiations. It is also used in Burns patients for skin protection and avoid infections.
